- 3Or choose a ratio for all pictures under the list: each one is cropped from the center.

Common ratios
1:1 is a square: profile pictures and Instagram posts. 4:3 and 3:2 are classic camera shapes. 16:9 is widescreen for slides and video thumbnails. 9:16 is tall for stories and shorts, and 3:4 is a portrait for print.
Quality
Cropping only removes pixels around the edges, it does not scale the picture, so what stays is as sharp as the original. JPG and WebP are saved at 95% quality and PNG stays lossless.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded to your server?
No. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser using your own device. Your files are never sent to us or to any third party, which is why it also works for private photos and large batches. Once the page has finished loading you can even switch off your internet connection and the tool keeps working.
Can I crop many photos to the same size?
Yes. Choose a ratio under the list and every picture without its own crop is cropped from the center to that ratio. The crop keeps as much of each picture as possible.
Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?
Crop to the shape you want first, then use Resize Image to set the exact width and height.
