What's in the pack
favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 px), favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png, apple-touch-icon.png (180 px), android-chrome-192x192.png, android-chrome-512x512.png, site.webmanifest and html-snippet.txt.
Copy the files to the root folder of your website and paste the contents of html-snippet.txt inside the <head> of your pages.
How to get a sharp favicon
Start with a square image of at least 512 × 512 pixels. Keep the design bold and simple, and leave a little breathing room around the edges. Transparent backgrounds work well for the browser tab but iOS fills transparent areas of the touch icon with black, so use a solid background for that icon if you care.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded to your server?
No. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser using your own device. Your files are never sent to us or to any third party, which is why it also works for private photos and large batches. Once the page has finished loading you can even switch off your internet connection and the tool keeps working.
Can I use an SVG logo?
Yes. SVG is rendered at each size, so the icons stay crisp.
Do I still need to edit site.webmanifest?
Yes, fill in your site name and short name, and adjust the colors, if you want your site to be installable on phones.
