Why do websites serve WebP?
WebP is a format from Google that makes images 25–35% smaller than JPG or PNG at similar quality, so pages load faster. The downside is that some desktop apps, older editors and upload forms still reject .webp files.
Converting to PNG gives you a universally supported file and keeps transparency, which matters for logos and icons.

Are my photos uploaded to your server?

Are animated WebP files supported?
Only the first frame is converted, because PNG in this tool is a still image.
Should I convert to JPG instead?
If the image has no transparency and you want a smaller file, WebP to JPG is a better fit.
